Megan began with YMCA of Greater Boston-Camping Services as the Laughing Loon Day Camp Director in 2005 and as then Community Program Coordinator in 2009. Megan puts together fun community events such as community yard sales, adult dodgeball tournaments, holiday camps for kids, and Red Cross trainings. Megan grew up in Tuftonboro, and now lives in Wolfeboro, with her husband Todd. She attended Keene State College and received her Bachelor’s degrees in Elementary Education and Studio Art. Megan spends her free time relaxing on the lake at her family’s Cow Island cottage, playing Ultimate Frisbee, and hiking the local mountains.
Favorite Camp Activity: Dodgeball, Favorite Activity to Teach: Terrarium Building, Hobbies/Interests: Camping and Decorating, Favorite Book: The Lorax and I. Most Memorable Camp Moment: Listening to the North Woodsmen singing around the fire during their 80th Camp Reunion and hearing a lone loon cry out across Winnipesaukee when they were finished.
Corinna John, Assistant Director of Laughing Loon Day Camp since 2009
Corinna, along with another counselor created Day Camp's first ever color war, she plans to continue this new tradition into this summer as well. Corinna, grew up in Wolfeboro, NH and completed her Bachelors Degree in Physical Education, at Plymouth State University. Last fall Corinna moved out to Corvallis, OR to experience west coast living for awhile. Luckily for us she decided to come back to her roots for the summer and for another round of Laughing Loon! Corinna spends her free time hanging out with friends and family, boating on the lake, playing sports, and watching movies.

Denise Colcord, Head Counselor since 2010 Graduated Plymouth State University, with a major in Early Childhood Education, with a teacher certification, K-3 option. She grew up in Wolfeboro NH, this is her 2nd summer at Laughing Loon. Favorite Sport: tossup between basketball and tennis Favorite Activity: I enjoy doing a lot of different activities, from arts and crafts to the outdoors.
Chris Campbell, Day Camp Staff since 2010 Chris a Senior at Kingswood Regional High School. He grew up in Wolfeboro but spent his freshman year in Keene with his dad. He likes to act and is a big movie lover. Cris plays on the varsity tennis team. Favorite Book: Band of Brothers by Stephen Ambrose Favorite Sport: Basketball.
Kendall John, Day Camp Staff since 2010 Graduated from Kingswood Regional High School, is currently researching where and what to go to college for. Favorite book: Nineteen Minutes or The Pact by Jodi Picoult. Hobbies include: Reading, writing, watching movies, socializing. Sports: Basketball
